Youth Grant

The Texas Honey Bee Education Association (THBEA) works to increase the number of youth (ages 13-21) interested in beekeeping. To that end, THBEA offers grant funds to TBA-member beekeeping associations, FFA, and 4-H clubs, for the development and partial funding of youth beekeeping education programs.

THBEA offers grants of up to $2,000 per organization, with a total of $10,000 awarded to all organizations in 2024. Priority is given to TBA-member associations, as well as FFA and 4-H clubs, that do not currently have an operating youth beekeeping education program

Beekeeping equipment suppliers may offer discounts to THBEA grant awardees for their youth beekeeping education program.

THE NEXT YOUTH GRANT APPLICATIONS ARE SCHEDULED FOR AUGUST 2025.
